Working for Families
31 March 2006
Working for Families is a package that is designed to make it easier to work and raise a family.
From the 1st April many more New Zealanders will be eligible for financial assistance under the Government's Working for Families Package.
The threshold will be increasing. This means that many more families will be eligible and those already eligible will be able to earn more.
Greater financial support is available for:
- Almost all families with children, earning under $70,000 a year
- Many families with children, earning up to $100,000 a year
- Many larger families
