FoMA's Draft Submission on the Deletion of the Principles of the Treaty Bill
The Federation of Maori Authorities does not support the Deletion of the Principles of the Treaty Bill. This bill proposes to delete all references of the Treaty of Waitangi from legislation. Removal of references to the Treaty from statute will remove Maori rights to contest actions by the Crown that are inconsistent with the spirit of the Treaty.
