Advocating the interests of the FoMA membership, and as they generally coincide with those of the wider Maori community, is an important aspect of FoMA core business.

Networking – kanohi ki te kanohi - is integral to Maori and FoMA philosophy as indicated in the ‘Me Uru Kahikatea’ ethos.

The promotion of good governance and management practices has always been a key factor in our activity and in Maori resource development across the board. Hence, FoMA currently provides the following four-workshop programme
