- Business Interests that have a majority shareholding or are wholly owned by a Maori Authority. * Treaty settlement entities.
- Entities formed by individual statute.
Membership Benefits:
- Advocacy – FoMA is a reputable organisation that provides sound advice. Your membership entitles your input into FoMA policy that in turn is advocated to Government.
- Networking –Ki nga whakaeke haumi - ‘align yourself with those who have already banded together’ again our tupuna speak. Many of our members also leverage their resources to take advantage of commercial opportunities that they couldn’t manage alone. As a FoMA member you can access knowledge and experience from Maori business people, land administrators, and their advisers.
- Research & Training – Information Transfer is a key concern of FoMA. Due to the relationships developed within the membership and the Me Uru Kahikatea strategy of unified effort, Maori organisations have better leverage and access to resources from within FoMA than from without.
Membership fees are $1000 plus GST
Please do not hesitate to contact the FoMA Office if you wish to discuss any aspects of your application. We look forward to welcoming you on board.
