Q |
We’ve got some land we want to do something with, where do we start? |
A |
All Maori Land is governed by Te Ture Whenua Maori /Maori Land Act 1993. If your land blocks are currently unmanaged (ie. they’re not in any Trust, Incorporation or Reserve under the TTWMA), rest assured you are not alone. At this time there are approximately some 16,000 unmanaged titles. So, check out Te Kete Umanga. We’ve designed some easy to follow star charts for you to download and print out. These are to assist you no matter where you are in the process and alert you to the resources and services at your disposal. |

|
| The Maori Land Court is also an excellent resource. | |
