FoMA have been involved in electricity corridor discussions /negotiations for several years as part of the Landowners Forum with Transpower, the owner and operator of New Zealands national electricity grid. As you will be aware possible routes for a new transmission line in the upper region of the North Island have been released by Transpower.

All landowners living along the possible routes ought to have already received info packs from Transpower.

STAY IN TOUCH WITH FoMA

If you are an affected landowner, FoMA encourage you to contact the FoMA Office info@foma.co.nz so that we can keep you updated with any information on the upgrade that we receive. This will also assist us to identify, if any, a common position from affected members on negotiation expectations.

INFORMATION DAYS

We also encourage you to participate in the information days being held in the 14 communities along the routes as landowner and community feedback will be important in determining the final path for the new transmission line.
