FoMA rangatahi network hui, july 2004
28 Jun 2004
|
FoMA is setting up a Rangatahi Network to support strong future economic prospects for Maori. It will be open to both entrepreneurs - those running their own business(es), as well as those involved in the governance of Maori organisations, or planning to be in the future. The network will provide a national forum to meet, network, and share information.
"With New Zealand's size, our future success will depend on our ability to work together", says FoMA CEO Paul Morgan, "developing our future leaders is also crucial, and FoMA are keen to play our part with initiatives such as this".
Two initial hui are planned for July 24 & 25 in Wellington & Hamilton. They will focus predominantly on Maori Authorities. FoMA encourage Maori Authorities to consider sponsoring current & future rangatahi committee and board members to attend.
Numbers are limited at these two Hui.
