FoMA rate card
We have put together a number of different display packages for you to advertise your products and/or business on FoMA Website.
If you are taking into consideration advertising with us you should consider the following things:
- What size advertising space do you require?
- Would you like to have an image?
- Term of advertising?
- What page of our website you would like to advertise on?
- Do you need to purchase a whole extra page?
- Do you have an event that is relevant to Maori that you would like to advertise on our Calendar of Events?

What size advertising space do you require?
We offer three sizes that you can purchase, 100, 200 and 300 text characters per advertisement (ad) window including spaces. (Any links to another website will take into account all the text characters required for the website address, even if the address is not shown in the ad window).
Would you like to have an image?
You can choose to add an image to your advertisement. Choose the size of your ad (100, 200 or 300 text characters) plus a Picture in the FoMA Rate Card. The picture needs to be in the JPG format, and can only be at most 65x100 pixels in size (We can adjust the size of the picture for you).
We offer 5 different terms for which you can purchase the advertising space for:
- 1 Off – you purchase an ad space for two weeks only. You can only place an ad once during that time.
- 1 month - you purchase an ad space for one month only. You can only place an ad once during that time.
- 1 / 4- you purchase an ad space for 3 months (quarter of the year). You can make changes to your ad once a month or you can change the ad completely if you choose to do so.
- 1 / 2- you purchase an ad space for 6 months (half of the year). You can make changes to your ad once a month or you can change the ad completely if you choose to do so.
- Yr - you purchase an ad space for one year. You can make changes to your ad once a month or you can change the ad completely if you choose to do so.
What page of our website you would like to advertise on?
You can choose what page of our website you would like to place your ad on. There are eight pages for you to choose from (you can check it out for your self by selecting the page in the FoMA Rate Card).
The rates are based on the amount of traffic the particular page receives. FoMA website averages about 25,000 hits a week and every month we achieving new records with amount of traffic that passes through out website. FoMA Homepage and Hot Topics generate the most traffic, not far followed by the rest of the pages that are offered.
Note: This option is subject to availability, some spaces are long term occupied (please contact us to check on whether the space you are interested in is available. We also do pencil bookings, but will only hold the booked space for the term of one month).
Do you need to purchase a whole extra page?
As well as purchasing an ad window on one of our webpage’s, you can also purchase a whole page to link from the ad window. This would be useful if you have a newsletter or publication that you would like to publish on our website.
Terms:
- 1 Off – $75, will be published for two weeks only
- 1 month - $100, will be published for one month only
- 1 / 4– $300, publication can be changed every month
- 1 / 2– $550, publication can be changed every month
- Yr - $1,000 publication can be changed every month
Do you have an event that is relevant to Maori that you would like to advertise on our Calendar of Events?
If you are holding an event that might be of relevance to Maori (conference, consultations, advisory groups, celebrations, etc.) advertise it on our Calendar of Events. For only $75 you can place an ad for your event on our Calendar for the three month running up to the event. This part of the website generates a lot of interest as many events listed on this page are publicised through FoMA fortnightly newsletter.
Note: FoMA reserves the right to select which events are appropriate to be published on the Calendar of Events. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to clarify whether your event fits the specified criteria for this part of our website.
